I always make sure to get at least 10,000 steps per day and I just noticed today that it did not log half of my steps for Sunday and nothing for Monday and Tuesday. I always keep going until the 10,000 step alarm goes off on my Surge. How can I fix this and is there any way to recover my missing steps?

Usually when you are missing steps on large amounts of time, either your fitbit battery is dead or something is not syncing properly. I've had instances on my surge where i needed to sync multiple times when the data didn't make sense.
what does your app say and what does the surge say? is it the same information?
If no, try doing a manual sync by going into the fitbit app and selecting "Sync Now."
If yes, I would suggest doing a restart on your fitbit to see if you just need to re-boot.
To restart - press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge™ for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
