My Fitbit Surge syncs extremely difficult to my Samsung S7 Edge

I already red the other 'wont sync' topics but nothing helps...

  • I'm only syncing to one bluetooth device (the surge)
  • I rebooted the surge

Sometimes rebooting the Samsung phone helps, or using classic bluetooth connection.
But most of the time i have to try for hours for a sync Smiley Sad

What can i do?

The above list of supported devices is a PDF from September 2015, so it's probably well out of date. The latest compatibility checker on the website is pretty useless though.

In this day and age, if an app/device is compatible with Android, it should work on ANY device that runs a compatible version of Android. Everything else I've come across works reliably on most Android devices. It's poor software from Fitbit that is the problem...

Indeed the Samsung S7 edge is not in the list...
Why? This is one of the most popular phones today!

Come on fitbit, add the S7 to the list!

After a reboot of my Samsung S7 it synced immediately.
Now i have to reboot for each sync...
Maybe a small software issue?
