My Surge got rained on and now won't swipe or register HR

Anyone got any suggestions? I've tried resetting it, turning the HR monitor off and on in 'settings', changing the clock face... nothing works. At least I can still record runs but I can't see my data as I go, so it's very frustrating. Thanks for any other tips!

Hi, @MandyT, if you think getting wet caused this issue you might try putting your Surge in a bag or bowl of rice for a few days -- make sure the Surge is completely covered in rice.  The rice will absorb any moisture and help dry out your Surge.

It's awful being without your Fitbit, I know, but don't be tempted to take it out until it has had at least 48 hours.

Thanks Julia. I'll give it a go. As you say, hard to be without it for 48 hours but hopefully it'll be worth it!
