My heart rate monitor is not working

I just got my Surge and everything is good except no heart rate.

I have tried it one and three finger lengths back from the wrist.

I have made sure that I turned it to on - in the app online and still nothing.

Hi @MaureenOHara, welcome to the Community! Let me see if I can help you. On the back of your Surge, are the green lights blinking? and on the screen, on the heart rate feature, I guess that only 2 dashes are displayed, right? If that is the case, I would like you to follow the steps on this article "Why don't I see my heart rate on my Surge" to fix this issue.
