My wristband has completely detached now

This is a replacement that I've had since about August. The first one lasted about 8 months too. I've been offered another replacement or 50% off the most expensive new fitbit. Understandably I am not happy. Bubbles started to appear after only a few months. I don't like being told this happens in extreme conditions and the band was thoroughly tested. I don't use it in extreme conditions, just normal life. I don't have the money to risk upgrading to a new product that may prove equally unreliable in its construction.
