Welcome to the Fitbit Community @zuoxing, just to confirm, after you performed a firmware update you're no longer able to see all the options on the Surge's dis[;ay and you only see the battery icon?
Before considering other options, try to restart your tracker at least a couple of times if you haven't done so already, this has helped other users who were experiencing similar difficulties with the display. I hope this helps, keep me posted.
