A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @Basher67! You have the option to receive text notifications from normal messages by going to your Fitbit App Settings to activate "Messages", you might be using the option "WhatsApp". Your Fitbit App has only one option for notifications not both, so follow the next steps:

  1. Open Fitbit App
  2. Tap on "Account"
  3. Tap on "Surge"
  4. Access to Notifications and edit your "Text Notifications"

Please note that if you're using an Android device, "Require encryption" and "Enable Not. Widget" option should be "On" too.

Let me know if this helps! Smiley Wink

It's lovely to see you in the Forums @nicb09, welcome! I'd like to know which model of phone are you using. Have you check if you have updates for your phone or Fitbit App? This information is helpful.

Hello @Yojana

When will we have the whole notifications from phone coming to the tracker like surge or blaze?

Or at least few kind of notifications, like whatsapp and facebook,or even instagram?

Very curious about it ☺️

Thanks and be good 😂

Hope you're doing great with Fitbit buddy @Flybibann! That's a really good question. Receiving those notifications on your Fitbit Surge I'm not sure when we'll have this option and I woudn't like to give false expectations about it since I haven't read any update lately. I think your suggestion is an excellent idea since I tried to look for this request specifically for the Surge and I counldn't fine anything. I would like to encourage you submit ia request in our suggested idea, where members of the Community can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in a future update, this is the best way to make your voice heard. Woman Very Happy

In regards of the Fitbti Blaze you do have that option you can read more about it here in this master post from @AndrewFitbitSmiley Wink

Please make sure if you add whatsapp, facebook or instagram notifications that users who dont need them, have the options to disable thesem otherwise I'll be overhwelmed with vibrating wrist.  Normal phone text messages are my priority.

It's great to see you here @gsamara! Your right, a lot of messages getting your Fitbit can be a little bit overwhelming. I think that as any other option in the Fitbit App it would have the "disable" or "enable" option, as the Fitbit Blaze has it for those notifications. Smiley Happy
