New Surge, got issues connecting I already have an Account

I have previously downloaded the Fitbit app onto my windows phone using my email address and was using same for logging exercise. I recently got a surge as a present but because I have previously signed up to Fitbit under my email am having wicked trouble signing up the surge. Does anyone know how I cancel my previous account so as to register my surge ??? As you can see I'm not the most technologically minded person !!!☹️

The easiest thing to do is to just add the Surge to your existing account. I'm not sure about the Windows app but in the Android app it's in the account section where you find "add a device"

 

This way you'll keep all your previous data, settings etc

 

If you do want to completely start afresh and don't want to use a different email then you'll need to contact customer support to get your account cancelled: http://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs
