New surge stuck on start up screen

I have just had a new surge delivered and it won't get past the set up configuration screen and switch on. I've tried the reset process 3 times and it's still not working.  Any help much appreciated present for my husband so really annoyed having these issues with a £200 product!!

If purchased from Amazon, fastest to exchange with Amazon.. 


When purchased from a online store (other than fitbit), best to contact the store of purchase.. 

 

If purchased from the Fitbit Store,
