Hi
Got my hubby a surge second hand. It wont connect to his phone which is a Samaung J3, it also wont connect to my sons samsung s5 or my samsung s6??? Any ideas please? We get to the page where we have put the 4 digit number into the phone then it just stays on 'connecting'

The S5 or S6 should work, but not the J3. See Supported Devices List
I was just passing through and saw your question so hoppednin to answer. I know nothing about the Surge, but the other trackers Id suggest tryingnseveral restarts so give that a go! Cant do any harm and might work. Hopefully a Surge person will come along with some advice!

Do the initial setup on a PC, the surge can be very finicky trying to set it up on a phone. Once you have it set up on the PC, it will automatically sync to the phone app when you log in the first time, and every time you open the app after that.
Just remember to close the pc app and remove the wireless dongle from the PC.... that's very important 😉

Those are really good suggestions! As @Crazy-Fritter was telling you using the computer is a good option. You can follow the steps that @DuncanP gave in this post, as it has help other users too.
