New surge

Hello, I just got a new surge for Mother's Day and I had I charged for a little over two hours. The icon in the top corner says fully charged and my dashboard says the battery is full. But when I unplug my surge from the wall adapter the screen slowly fades and won't turn back on. Does it just need longer to charge? What would be a way to trouble shoot this problem if it continues? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Acorn5. It's great to have you here. Charging your Surge completely takes 1 to 2 hours. If your tracker is not working after a fully charge, I would recommend performing a restart. Additionally, it could be a good idea plugging the charging cable in a different USB port. This should get you back on track.
