Overnight log for disrupted sleep added to incorrect days

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I'm a new parent and consequently am getting up in the night to do feeding.
The sleep tracker logs all the (little) sleep I'm getting on the day it ended which means that the amount of sleep I got overnight on any given day isn't calculated. Is there any way to change the settings to add up the amount of sleep between noon each day instead of midnight?

Hello @sleepyparent, welcome aboard to our community and congratulations. Well, your tracker can detect little naps when at least are an hour in length. During the night it should read your sleep as well since it wont matter the time, due to the sleep recognition is based on your movement. When you haven't moved in over an hour, the tracker's algorithms assume that sleep has begun, which is then confirmed by the length of time your movements only indicate sleep behavior (rolling over, etc). Although if you are getting up constantly; either your sleep logs will be interrupted or if wont be recognized if the length of time is not enough.

If by any chance this happen, note that there isn't a setting to modify the time is reading your sleep, but you can manually log this information. Just be careful not logging sleep with the same time of previous logs from your tracker. to do this please follow this steps:

1. Sign into your Fitbit Dashboard, then click "Log Activity", then select the "Sleep" tab.
2. Enter the time that you entered your bed and left your bed. Use the "previous day" drop-down option if you went to bed before midnight. Select the "same day" option if you went to bed after midnight.
3. You have the option to choose "12 hr" if you want to enter your time in AM/PM format, or "24 hr" if you prefer Military Time.
4. Once you sync your tracker your sleep information will be visible on your Dashboard.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
