Power off during hiking

Hi All

I went hiking last Saturday from 0800, end at about 1530. My surge was auto-off. I charged it up at around 1900. I found my hiking record was 11 hours not at the power cut off time ( I guess at 1500m so likly 7 hours). I expected the software is same as other brands that the record stop at time when auto power cut. Is there any option for the end time?

Also, can I manually change my record end time at 1500?

BRs

Chris

Hi there @ChrisHK. Good to see you in the community!

At the moment, you're not able to change the time frame on a recorded exercise so I don't think you will be able to change the end time on that log. Now, I would recommend restarting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds and this will make it to reboot and should prevent it from happening again.

Let me know if you need more help!

Hmm, that does sound like a great suggestion I hadn't think of @ChrisHK.

There are some existing suggestions for activities to auto pause when you stop moving but not for auto pause before the battery dies so it would be cool if you could create a new one in the Feature Suggestions board for others who may find it helpful to  vote for it and hopefully to be reviewed by our team to analyze the possibility to implement it.

Anything else, let me know! 🙂

Hi Ferdin

Thanks a lot, my surge is normal now. Just would like to recommend the the watch can auto cut the activity before battery drain out.

Yesterday, I completed a 35km hiking in ~6h40m. I could stop my watch just before it power off, haha
