I recently upgraded from a Charge to the Surge. Not very happy with the surge at all.
The accuracy of the steps falls short. Actually very short! I am consistently registering about 10 to 12% fewer steps for the same distance as my charge.
The heart rate monitor (the main reason I went to the surge) is all over the place. This morning I walked for 19 minutes at a brisk pace and it had my heart rate peak at 112 bpm 5 minutes into the walk. This afternoon walking the same route for 29 minutes it had my peak at 104 bpm 8 minutes into the walk.18 minutes into the afternoon walk it shows 70 bpm! How can that be? Don't tell me about the one finger two finger wrist adjustment I check that every time I walk.

This afternoon walking the same route for 10 minutes longer it registered nothing!.
Is this the way it is or is there something that can be done to fix it?
