I'm looking for a fitness band/watch for my 13yr old daughter who goes running and has being after one for a while. Could someone please recommend to me what is best value/quality. The price for the fitbit surge is $100au. Something around that amount would be preferable.

I'm surprised you are seeing a price for the Surge as it has been Discontinued. Maybe they still have some available in AU.

 

The Inspire does pretty much the same except it has connected GPS instead of built in. So she would need to have the phone with her.

 

All the trackers use connected GPS now 😐
