I currently use the Charge HR, but am looking for something with a few more features for running. I am hoping the Surge or Blaze can accomplish this. In particular, I would like to be able to track my run with my warm up and cool down showing separately so that I can see my actual running pace (not my pace combined with the warm up & cool down). Right now, if I want to track my warm up and cool down, I have to start and stop the tracking three separate times so that my run has only the run split times. Does the Surge or Blaze do this?
Also, can someone confirm that it will give me an elevation profile? I run in a very hilly area and would like to know how many feet I am increasing and decreasing each run. Counting as floors is not as useful and the profile would be fantastic.
Thanks in advance for any info!

You'll find that in terms of logging exercise, the range of Fitbit trackers are pretty consistent with regard o the features they offer. Thus the Surge and Blaze work exactly the same way as the Charge HR so that 3 exercises will need to be logged as you do now to get what you want.
When using GPS, there is an elevation profile but I've seen some forum posts questioning the functionality and I'm afraid I don't use it enough to be really helpful to you. If your phone supports MobileRun then it may be worth using that for a day or two to see what sort of data the GPS component brings you.
