Receiving badge too early

I have had my Surge since Christmas and have not had a problem.  Recently when trying to get my floor badges it seems that I am receiving them too early.  On both my fitbit Surge as well as the app on my phone, it shows that I did 100 floors for the day, however, I received the badges for 125 and 150 floors for the day.  That makes me look real good to my friends and all but I want it to be an accurate reflection of what I have done.  I would like to earn those badges and not feel like a bug made me "cheat" my way to it.  Please let me know if there is a fix for this.  Thanks.

I'll be happy to help you @ARH55!  Is always good to start with a restart, this will help to fix any issue your Surge may have. Your Surge will record one floor for every 10ft of elevation. I'd also like to know if you put your tracker nearby an AC. The air flow also causes this extra floors on your Surge.
