Will there be any future updates for the Surge? Nothing since 16.34.5.14 in September 2015. It doesn't look likely

Hi @SunsetRunner, How you doing?

This option is not available for Fitbit Surge, but it is a great suggestion! You add your vote and comment to our Feature Suggestion Board: Reminders to Move for Surge and Charge HR. So it can be implemented in a future update. This is the best way to make your voice heard. The more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.

Have a great day! Smiley Happy

Good to see someone brought the 'Reminder to Move' point. Added to this, there are some more features missing. All this can be updated. FITBIT, are you listening?

So, is this functionality going to happen? Seems like a big miss on the most advanced model.

No, this will not happen. Not only is the Surge not the most advanced model, it isn't even a current product; the Surge has been discontinued, and with the exception of a few still in the distribution channel, there are no more for sale. If you want this feature, you can opt for any one of Fitbit's newer models, including the new Ionic which has replaced the Surge as Fitbit's flagship model.
