Removing steps?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I tried the Help article I saw listed in several places:

http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/Can-I-delete-data/?q=Can+I+delete+data%3F&l=en_US...

I followed the directions, but it did NOT decrease the steps that were incorrectly logged. I was snowblowing, and the vibrations of the machine logged nearly 1500 steps in a very short time.

Has anyone had success in removing incorrect data?

Hello @AimeeATC, I'm glad to see you around in our community. Sure, I always use this method to remove steps recorded while I'm driving or doing any other activity that was not actual exercise. Make sure the activity you are logging match with the time of the steps you are trying to remove and the duration cover the amount of time that data was recorded. If everything is correct, try to delete the driving activity and enter a new one. Keep in mind the original amount of steps prior to log the activity and once you have logged the information compare your steps if it were removed.

Let me know how it goes. I'll be around.
