Hi everyone!
I recently received a Fitbit Surge as a Christmas Present and sadly (and very frustratingly) cannot charge it despite doing all the suggested things. Cannot get the blasted 'Configuration Fitbit.com/setup' off the face of it after re-starting it so can't see the battery charging indicator!! Cannot update the tracker because it has low battery charge.Blah, blah, blah!!
For those who had replacement ones, were you second time lucky?

hi @GhurkaGirl have you set it up via the bluetooth dongle on a PC? if not it stays on that screen even if you restart it. they are delivered with a bit of charge on the battery but it may not be enough to do the set up. Before starting the setup it's best to plug it into a charger a few minutes before and leave it plugged in during the setup.

BTW I had the same problem with a message saying that the charge wasn't sufficient to do the set up despite the fact that I had it plugged into a mains charger. So what I did was plug it into a more powerful power source (an external battery rather than the mains electricity) and it worked straight away
