Replacement of my Surge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Surge band cracked and was falling a part and I have only had it less than a year. I have read in the forum where individuals have had bad experiences trying to replace their Surge. I took it upon myself to write Fitbit and less than an hour they responded. They asked a few questions and again within less than an hour, they responded by informing me that my new replacement Surge was being shipped. Now that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thanks Fitbit!

I am happy that they hooked you up quickly with a replacement. Your device lasted less than a year? The betting odds are that the band on your new device will last less than a year too. When (not if) it fails, my understanding is Fitbit will not give you another one. When that happens, please come back here share your customer service experiences.  Good luck, I hope your lasts.

Greetings @nola_robPlease be note that all Fitbit products have been tested to be durable and long lasting so they shouldn't be going defective at an early stage. Also, keep in mind that your tracker is covered under Fitbit's limited 1 year warranty. Therefore, if your tracker is outside this period then support won't be able to replace it. Thanks a million for your understanding! I recommend contacting our Support Team for any further assistance and feedback. Cat Happy
