Restarted and Recharged - Screen is missing the icons and text/numbers

I bought a new Charge 2 and hadn't used my original Surge in a year.

After charging the watch the screen came up and it is missing font, icons (shoe) and numbers.

You can swipe screens but they are all blank, The battery symbol is displayed, and during the restart the whole Fitbit dotted logo appears.

It worked perfectly fine beforehand. I stopped using it because the band broke. I was able to buy a replacement band and was hoping to give it to my dad for father's day. I already got my mom using the app and I would love to get them synced to one another.

I realize this could be a result of changing the bands. However, I also searched everywhere to see if anyone else has ever had this happen to their watch. No matches.

When not charged for long periods of time it ruins the battery. So i  suspect thats what has happened. There is nothing you can do t o bring it back sorry
