Running timer will not start or track my running

I just received a replacement Surge.  When I went to go run it would allow me to connect to the GPS, but I could not get it to start.  I have shut it down and restarted it but have not figure out how to get my new Surge to work.  I never had  a problem with my old one.

Thanks for trying those steps to troubleshoot your replacement. Please connect your Surge with the charging cable and try the restart a couple of times, while it is connecting. Then I'd suggest to try these steps to make sure that the new Surge is updating successfully the initial set up.

Then you can try to use the GPS options.

Give it a shot and let me know if that works! Woman Happy

I have tried to restart the Surge with no luck.  I am thinking that the bottom right button is not working?  I have followed the directions you had sent it to restart and it will not shutdown (in addition to not starting the running activity that uses the bottom right button).  I thought I had shut it down before, but maybe it was my other Surge or perhaps the battery ran out.  Anyway, please let me know if there is something else I can try.  Thanks for your help.
