There once was a sandwich shop that could not make a decent sandwich. Being thier core (and only) business, it seemed odd that they would be bad at it. Every day I think of that now closed sandwich shop as I struggle with a device that does not work
Sync to PC - < 10% of the time
Sync to Android < 5% (Although it is an unsupported Samsung S7 Edge.. no reason fitbit would want to support that 6 months after release of thier flagship device)
Took my Surge off last night and threw it in a drawer... I stopped going to the sandwich shop too, as did everyone. Moral of story: Be good at your core business... I am suprised at the document level of frustation and FitBit seems to keep selling sandwiches. Ok, now im hungy.

Please remember that devices do not get put on the aproved devices list until they have been thoroughly tested. As for your phone it has only been out a short period, and tweeting mitt not be complete.
As for your phone there are several threads specifically on this, and yes or does seem to work.
As for the computer, whatever OS it is, make sure the phones BT os off when trying to sync. Bluetooth will lock onto one device keeping the outer from even seeing it.
As for syncing, there is no reason why more tyan 1 device to sync through is needed.
