Hi, @Carpydell, that definitely looks dodgy! If a restart doesn't help*, I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com, and they will talk you through your options.
*it is always a good idea to try the restart option several times -- and if you think your Surge might have gotten wet, even through condensation due to rapid changes of temperature, putting it in a bag of rice for a couple of days also can help.

Best AnswerYour screen is broken have a look at the other forums with screen cracked. If your still under warranty then either take it back to place of purchase with your receipt or contact fitbit support. Unfortunately if your out of warranty then your also out of luck, fitbit may offer you a discount on a new tracker but I'd check the forums before taking up that option.
