Set sleep hours so one night of sleep is tracked as one day...???

I love the sleep tracking on my Surge... it's helped me figure out why I sleep so long-- bc if I 'sleep' from 11 pm- noon, in only getting 6 hours of restful sleep! But here's the problem: in the dashboard, it shows my sleep as one hour (11-midnight), then the next day is the rest of the sleep- midnight-noon... how do I get this to show as one day's worth of sleep instead of 2?  This is hard to explain, does this make sense-- anyone understand what I mean?

Mine only does that if I get up for a while and then go back to bed. Is it doing it every night? Can you maybe post a screen shot?
