I have a Fitbit Surge that i wish to connect to my existing account, i cannot get it to connect at all. I have followed all the advice and help i can find online and nothing works.
The Surge has been connected but i then bought a Charge2 and deleted the Surge from my account, i need to connect the Surge again as the green light on the back are on continuously.
I am using either an Android device or a Mac

Hello @Hawkeyefxr, if you just want to turn of the heart rate, this can be done right on the tracker.
Press the back button
Swipe to settings
Press select button
Swipe to Heart Rate
Press select to turn it off.
To reconnect follow the instructions found on the help site.

Hey there, @Hawkeyefxr! Thanks for joining the forums!
At the moment you are setting up a new tracker, always make sure that there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby because that might interfere with the connection.
Forgetting the Surge from your Bluetooth and setting it up again, does the trick sometimes.
To turn the Off the HR monitor, follow the instructions provided by our good friend, @Rich_Laue!
