Hi got my Fitbit for Christmas and have noticed it says I have done so many steps when I haven’t. I have noticed that it’s counting my steps when am moving my arms??

Can anyone help, how do I stop it from doing it ?

Thanks

I will count steps when it sees the arms moving.

Under settings on the dashboard you can change the Dominant settings.

Click on the device name then go to wrist. Change it to the opposite that you wear it.

I wear mine on my Dominant arm but the settings are set to Non-Dominant

It does help some.

Thank you.

Just gave that a try and it’s still counting steps as I move my arm even when I changed the settings.
Thanks though.
