Need any advice regarding sudden battery drains so fast. Been using my surge for more than a year with no problems. Suddenly i am having this issue and iin addition to that, i need to reset my surge as well to sync in my phone. Any similar issues and solutions? Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue, it started with a sync failure. Shortly thereafter the battery drainage issue started, only my Surge now drains in under four hours! And I'm not even using GPS. Anyway, I use the tricks suggested in the Surge forum to address the intermediate sync issues and they mostly solve the problem in the short term. I have logged the issue with customer service but, short of being asked for proof of purchase, I haven't gotten a response.
