So I receive a low battery warning after 5 days. I charge through the USB and the Surge reports fully chraged in the morning when I wake up. I refereence the App at the gym and it tells me battery low...Uggh! I know the USB port charges my iphone and the Surge itself reports full charge then this.
I plug the SUrge in for 5 minutes that evening after referncing the App and it says Surge Battery is fully charged in IOS notification. What's the deal? I expect for the price of this thing the functionality between the App and the device should be transparent and accurate and not deliver conflicting messages. I am not syncing all day and I do have notifications and call and tect turned on. Please give me some insight as there are better products coming to market that interact seamlessly.

It's nice to see here @HawaiiGuy, hope you're enjoying your Fitbit buddy! That's a really good question the one you have there, it seems to be that your Surge is not communicating successfully with your Fitbit App. What I think it might happened is that since you're not using the "All day sync", your Fitbit App wasn't showing the most recent information. A daily sync is recommended but not required. Most Fitbit trackers record detailed minute-by-minute data for seven days also your tracker can store 35 hours of GPS data before deleting some to make room for more (this info is just a reference for you to know).
The important thing is that in your case when you are viewing the Fitbit App to "Force Sync", your device will be actively scanning for your tracker to sync new data if it is available, so just make sure that the synchronization has been done successfully when you do this. Tap the tracker image on your dashboard or under "Account". On the next screen, tap your tracker name to see your last sync time, firmware version, and battery level at the top. By doing this you'll make sure you're getting live data.
Give it a shot and let me know if that works!
