Hi, I have a 390 day old Surge with a screen that blanks out and is completely unresponsive. They only way I can get it back is to put it on the charger. It immediatloy boots up and has 50% battery life as soon as I plug it in. I have tried the normal restaring to no effect. Is there a way to recalibate the battery? I no longer get low battery warnings either. Support has offered a 25% discount, but frankly I am not too keen to spend another 200.00 over and above the 250.00 I have already spent on a product that isn't going to last more than a year. So if I can get it back to good I would rather do that.

Wonderful troubleshooting @Strandedvandal
It's not possible to recalibrate the battery. Aside cleaning the tracker & restarting there's nothing else to try ourself in attempt to fix..
If not already done, check out the Fitbit Help Article:

@Strandedvandal Welcome to our Community! One more thing I would like to comment is that you charge your tracker for 2 hours even though you see it showin half the charge when you plug it into your computer. This may help improve it's battery life and also try @SunsetRunner's great suggestions.
Let me know how it goes!
