Hi,
I have had my Fitbit surge for like 3 years now and never had a problem with connecting to Bluetooth classic until I got a new phone and had to connect everything again, I am able to pair my phone to the surge through Bluetooth using the app but when I go to pair the Bluetooth classic for music I set it to pair on the device but it isn’t showing up on my Bluetooth settings on my phone( iPhone XS Max) I’m only getting the surge and not surge classic can anyone help?

Hi there, @Vcann have you find a solutions?
I have issue with connecting to my new iPhone XS. Bluetooth is connecting to surge classic but when I go to the app to pair it, it doesn’t found it. My old phone used to be surge only and not surge classic. Does it make a difference? As only get the classic one now and feel that’s the problem? Is anyone can help please?

If your fitbit has been setup with an iOS device, you should not have the Bluetooth classic option. With iOS music is controlled through the BTLE.
Was your old phone an iOS phone?
Have you tried to control music on your iOS phone? You should not have to connect classic.
My thought is that you may need to setup the tracker as a replacement device.
