Hi,
I've had a Fitbit Surge for about 14 months now. In the last 6 months I have had an issue with the buttons not working straight away. They will not respond and I have to keep them depressed for 10 seconds, press 2 buttons at a time and I need to keep doing this for up to a minute or sometimes longer. I am in a running group and I have to hold up my group until I can get the surge into the run mode. It is frustrating when this happens especially when they have their watches ready at the first press of their button. Does the surge have a life of 1 year or less or have I bought a lemon. Curious to see if others have a similar issue that they they may be able to assist with. By less than 1 year I mean that I started having this issue at about 8 months after I bought this. Any advise or suggestions??

You should of contacted fitbit when the problems began. It would of been replaced. But now its out of warranty.

@stevekak If you live in Europe your warranty period is for 2 years (so you may still have a shot). If you live in the US then you are out of luck.
