Surge Calories Not Matching Life Fitness Calories

Loving my Surge and things like heart rate and steps taken/distance are prety much spot on with the Life Fitness machines I use.

However, calories burned are much lower, especially for Spinning.  This mornings result from the Life Fitness machine was 284 calories burned spinning whilst the Surge only showed 85 calories.  That's a significant difference!  And I certainly felt like I'd burned 284.............  85 is way too low.

Whilst the Treadmill and Eliptical readings were also lower the difference wasn't anywhere near as extream as with Spinning.

Any thoughts as to why such a large discrepency?

Don't have a good answer but I experience the same issue when riding a stationary bike and using the spinning exercise mode.  On an hour ride the precor bike indicates 1200 calories burned and the surge indicates 750 calories burned.  Heart rate on both devices are within 1-2 bpm at 135 to 145 during the ride.  I have my wieght programmed into both devices.

It would be helpful if we could edit, in the dashboard, the calories recoded.  Should be simple to implement.
