Surge Music Control

Hi there, I'm trying to pair my Surge as a Surge 'Classic' on my Iphone, as by doing this I understand I can then control my music on my Iphone. But I can not seem to find it as 'Classic' on my bluetooth. Any ideas as I've already tried 'forgetting tis device'. Also tried on the Surge going SETTINGS>BLUETOOTH CLASSIC>PAIR and still nothing. Advice and help very welcome thanks.
