Surge - Time display not changing after travel

I recently travelled to Australia from Africa where I work. My Surge changed the time display to Australian time. After return to Africa it will not change back to local time. I have tried solutions found in this forum such as uninstall and re-install the App. Log out then log back in. Multiple synch. I successfully changed the clock face so it is synching but the time does not change. I changed to local time in settings etc. I think I have tried everything but the time remains Australian time. Does anyone have any other ideas? Cheers.

Hi, @Legion61 , I would suggest first toggle auto time zone to off, if it is set to on.  You can find this on account --> settings --> advanced settings.

 

Then choose any WRONG time zone and sync your Surge.  Hopefully that will make your Surge's time update.  Finally, select the CORRECT time zone and sync again.  I am not sure why this works, but sometimes it does.  You can turn auto time zone back on if you want, but I always keep it off, because then you have control when the time zone changes so you don't experience the issue of "jumping over" midnight which causes your steps not to reset to zero (but that's another problem...)
