Surge and Mobil run

If I start Mobil run on my phone will my surge still track heart rate but not gps or distance covered

Welcome to the Community @Bcabt2! It depends. If you don't put your Surge in activity mode, such as run or walk or any other activity that has the GPS option. Then, MobileRun will track your activity using GPS and your Surge is going to track steps, hr, and floors.
