Surge band broke off

It is very disappointing that my surge band broke off even with carefull use and even worst was the costumer relations, that offered me a 25% discount to buy a new one not even a apology, saying that my product is not under warranty because I don't have the receipt, and because of that they said that is more than 365 days (which has not), and even so that was the case is the product only build to last 365 days ? Because we can see the same problem is happening over and over all over the internet and the forums due to bad quality of the material. Even more disappointing is that I bought a surge for me a aria scale a charge hr for my wife and recommended to my family and friends (which they bought because of me). Very disappointing with the brand

Unfortunately it's out the hands of the most awesome community.

 

Fitbit has trackers with exchangeable bands:

 

Flex, Flex 2 (swim proof), Charge 2, Blaze.
