I love this Fitbit model Surge device, however, because I ware it 24/7, the band is really ratty and my wife refuses to go out in public with me for it makes me look like a "homeless person", a very healthy & fit HOMELESS PERSON!

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @Health603! Fitbit Surge doesn't have exchangeable bands. That feature is only available for Fitbit Flex, Flex 2, Charge 2, Alta and Blaze. You can go ahead an contact Customer Support, as @WendyB mentioned before, so they can help you with this. I'm sure they will be more than glad to assist you!
Keep me posted on the resolution!

The same thing happened to my Surge. I was cleaning it one day and noticed tearing at the back where the screws were and a bit of peeling also. I contacted Fitbit. I have read that alot of people have had this issue. Fitbit's customer support was great. My Fitbit Surge was just past it's year warranty but I was able to get them to send me a replacement watch at no charge, brand new with the knowledge that it wouldn't be considered under any warranty in the future should this happen again...I am not pleased that down the road this may happen again but I am very happy they replaced my Surge. Good luck!

I found this online, if you have no luck with Fitbit you might want to consider this!

Unless you an get it replaced under warranty, there is no option directly through Fitbit. The band is replaceable ($20-$25), but you will have to risk the third-party market on ebay or amazon. The good news is that you generally get the hex tool to help swap the band. In my humble opinion, this is a super simple fix and lost revenue on the Fitbit side ($40-$60). I am betting the next version will have to new clip-on attachment bands some of the new models use.

Your choice of colors. Mine came with the band, metal clasp, screen protector, and torx screwdriver.

It's great to see you back @MobileHighStep! and @5016 welcome to the Forums!
@5016 If you want to replace your band, it's best to contact Customer Support so they can see the options that they can offer you. Fitbit Surge doesn't have replaceable bands but you can ask for your warranty options.
@MobileHighStep Thanks for sharing that information!
Have an awesome day, I'll be around in case you need anything else!
