Surge band falling apart and button won't press

After lots of research and thinking, I picked a surge instead of an Apple Watch or a Garmin or Polar, and Simone special gave it to me as a birthday present at the end of 2015. That's when it developed what looked like an air bubble, on the band near the wafch face.

It's since continued to grow and now, almost one whole side is pulled away from the watch face part on the top.

The button on the upper right side sticks as well.

i see there's a few new models of Fitbit, but, despite really liking it, I'm not sure I'd invest $200+ in a new one after this one started falling apart so fast.

Bummer!

@cjromb If it's still under warranty call Customer Service and request a replacement (Surge). If it's past the warranty go to Amazon for a replacement band (as FitBit does not offer one) and go to YouTube to see how to replace it. Good luck!
