I have been a FB user for 3yrs now. Have used FB HR and FB Surge. Both fall apart after 4 or 5 months of use. I make great effort to not get my tracker wet or subject it to damage and yet the bands always seem to bubble up and fall apart. When the HR was discontinued and I was convinced to upgrade to the Surge I was assured that the wrist band problems were resolved, this is not the case. I am now on my 3rd Surge. Apparently FB trackers have a long and documented history of falling apart during normal use. In FB's defense if your tracker is still under warranty they readily replace or offer a discount on an upgrade until the end of the warranty period, after that your on your own.
When this one dies ( and I'm positive it will) I will never again use or recommend FB trackers to anyone. I have 10yr old KMart watches that are better built.

I have exactly the same issue and am worried that once my warranty expires, I will no longer be able to use my expensive Surge.
I would like to know if Fitbit are aware of this and if they are doing anything to improve the durability of the Surge strap,
