No, that's not normal.
I easily get 5 days (usually more) - with two 50 minute GPS runs in there.

It's a known problem and customer service is fantastic. I got a surge for Christmas and it drained within 48 hours, despite making all the adjustments recommended to extend battery life. I called customer service in mid-January and they sent me a new one, which is having the same issue. I called customer service this morning and they are sending me out yet another fitbit. The only difference is that this time they want me to send my most recent surge back to them as I was told it has new software that should have fixed the battery draining issue.
Fitbit has been great, and I appreciate their willingness to stand by their product.

@radavies Welcome to our Community! As @SunsetRunner mentioned this is not normal. The battery life depends on the features you have enabled (GPS, Music Control, Notifications, Heart Rate). You can run for up to 10 hours if you have the GPS enabled before needing a charge. Please be so kind to disable some features and let me know if you see any change.
Also make sure your tracker is charging properly.
- The charging cable is plugged into a working USB port.
- The end plugged into the tracker fits securely.
- While charging, the battery charging icon (lightning bolt) appears at the top left when the Menu is displayed on your Surge.
@KlutzyK Im glad to know you're back on track!
