I hiked and was caught in a downpour, I didn't suspect it would cause any issue. It actually worked throughout that day and logged a walk the next day. But it would not take a charge ever since the day. I called support and was advised that it was toast, It was just over one year old.

You should of put it in rice for a few days so it could draw the water out. Has revived many Fitbits.
Charging it with out drying it out didnt help it as well.
Im so sorry. ![]()

Best AnswerYes,
my one pet peeve with all FitBit products is they have zero waterproof to them.I am not alone as many others have the same beef.
Garmin and other companies are coming out with very similar high quality wearables. FitBit needs to get their act together and start making water proof FitBits!
I should be able to shower or be in a rainstorm at min without fear of losing my $100 to $200 Fitbit.
Just my 2 cents
