Surge has no accessories but costs most

I paid $250 Plus for a watch that doesn't have any accessories or customizable displays. Yeah I knew what I was getting into but there are never any updates. They only have updates for all of the cheaper devices. Really upset about this. You would think they would have updates and customization for an item that you spend so much money on

It's great to see you participating in our Community @Hughjazz! Thank you very much for your feedback, you're right Fitbit Surge doesn't have accessories and I haven't heard about any update lately. I hope this change in the future but I don't have more information about it.  What are the customizable displays you would like to have in your Surge, I think that you can change your Clock display and some other things in the Settings of your Dashboard, tap on your Surge picture in the Account section on the Fitbit App. Is this what you wanted to change?
