Surge heart rate accuracy compared to Charge HR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I've been trying to get answers from fitbit directly but they haven't been very helpful.

I have recently changed over from the charge HR and I have been noticing that it has been reading my heart rate higher than when I've been using the charge HR.

From using the charge HR for over six months, the fat burn minutes have only been about 40 minutes for my working day whereas the Surge has been saying more than 2 hours.

Also, my work only involves walking and is very similar from week to week. Last week it was quite hot where I am but it has been cooler when I started using the Surge.

It's saying my hear rate peaks at 120bpm on the Surge but 100bpm on the Charge HR.

What should I do?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Community! I'll be happy to help you with this. The first I recommend making sure your personal information in your account settings is correct. To make sure your tracker is taking is taking your readings correctly take a look at our wearing tips.

Sometimes, it takes a few days to the tracker to get used to your activities, so please allow a couple of days more to see how your tracker behave.

Keep me posted!
