I have joined a gym and for the past 30 days my fitbit does not show the same results when I am on a treadmill.  My HR is 115-118 on the treadmill monitor, but my fitbit shows 105. Also, I set a distance work out twice a session on the treadmill and the distance on the tread mill shows 1.25 miles and my fitbit shows .85 miles. I use various tread mills at the gym and all are about the same results.

Hi @anthony915, how are you doin' today? Well, normally due to nature of both, the treadmill and the Surge, since they work in a different way, we suggest not to compare the results obtained for each of them, specially regarding the heart rate monitor on the Surge. Now regarding the distance tracked, there is a chance that your Surge is not picking up the most accurate distance, due to the nature of the equipmentsince you are not physically moving in space nor climbing stairs. So in this case, I suggest you to create a Manual Log on your account by following the instructions on @GisselleM and add the caloric burn tracked on the treadmill.

Hi @anthony915

Since mentioning having a Surge, moved this thread from the Charge HR to the Surge section to increase the chance of getting a solution.
