Surge lasting 8 hours, is this usual?

Well, I bought a fitbit surge yesterday from a seller on a mobile app called Carousell and it was brand new in its box but did not come with a receipt. I charged it for 2 hours and when I used it, its battery life only lasted for about 8 hours. And I was wondering if that was usual and if I could get a replacement somehow?

Welcome to the forums!

You need to exchange from the place you bought it from. It also does not sound like an authorized dealer.

But you can try a few things before you do

Please clean the contacts

Then Do a Restart

Good luck!

Hi @Batman2704,

I had to look up that site Carousell as it was new to me. It says it's a "person-to-person marketplace", so it sounds like your Fitbit came from someone who bought it and then sold it.

I would start by contacting the seller and read Carousell's terms to see if they can help. If not, I would contact Fitbit Support and see what they have to say. You'll want to know if the unit is covered by warranty and support.
