Surge needs to be turned off/on to sync w/iPhone

Recently my Surge started needing to be turned off, then on, each time I want to sync it to my iPhone. All-day Sync is activated, and the Surge and the iPhone are both updated. Has anyone else experienced this, and, has anyone discovered a fix?

Thanks a lot,
Greg

I've found on my Android phone that force stopping the app then opening it up again always gives me a successful sync when I'm having issues.

I have all day sync and always connected turned off.

Thanks for the suggestion @Crazy-Fritter! @GregAhl thanks for trying those steps. You can also the next steps to make sure your Surge will connect properly:

  1. Force quite the App and turn off your phone
  2. Open Fitbit App, go to Account (upper right corner) > Delete Fitbit Surge from the Account
  3. Open the Bluetooth Setting on your iPhone and delete Fitbit Surge from there too
  4. Reboot Bletooth to make sure Surge is not there
  5. Restart your Surge and Access back to Fitbit App > Account to set up your Fitbit Surge back
  6. Turn on notifications

This should solve any syncing issue that you're having, please keep me posted on the resolution! Smiley Wink
