I have now received my fourth fitbit the last 2 have had the same problem they will still not swipe, i have tried restarting, forcing it to sync and changing some settings. Live chat is busy and I have spent so much time trying to fix this problem. Are the replacement fitbits not checked to make sure they work?? Can anyone offer any help??

I don't have a solution but I can sympathize. Fitbit Surge is junk, and Fitbit replaces items under warranty with junk replacements. I've had 3 Fitbit Surges in 18 months, all three failed in the same way. Now I'm out of warranty period so I'm stuck. I will never buy Fitbit devices again.
