Surge not syncing/battery life only lasting 24 hrs why?

My surge has not been syncing properly for 2 days now ? Have updated software and turning Bluetooth on and off also notices my surge battery life is only lasting 24 hrs ? Why? I haven't changed anything on the surge it's only just started happening 2/3 days ago why? Help please
